| Our hot air balloon rides are available by reservation seven days a week, May through November at sunrise and just before sunset. The actual start and end dates of our balloon flight season will depend on the seasonal weather change - check with us on this. We suggest you reserve your balloon flight a week in advance, or longer if you need a specific date. As a general rule weekdays are less busy than weekends for making a reservation. We do accept last minute reservations if space is available. Morning weather offers some of the best flying conditions for hot air ballooning. The average hot air balloon flight covers 3 - 10 miles and lasts about 1 hour. To schedule your flight, either call 419-560-7535 or send an email to gary@midohioballoon.com. WEATHER - High winds and/or inclement weather prevent us from flying. Please call to confirm your flight the evening before a morning flight or the morning of the same day for an evening flight to verify that the forcasted weather conditions will allow your balloon flight. RESCHEDULING - should your scheduled flight be cancelled due to inclement weather, we will reschedule your flight for the next available flight date. There are days when we will call a flight a go and have to cancel at the launch site due to marginal wind conditions. We hate disappointing passengers but our first priority has to be safety. |
